On June 14, Swedish Library Association, Wikimedia Sverige, and the Institute of Intellectual Property and Market Law at Stockholm University, in collaboration with Knowledge Rights 21, are pleased to welcome you to a one-day conference dedicated to exploring the intersections of Text and Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Copyright and Libraries. The event will take place at the Aula Magna, Stockholm University.
Commencing at 11 am and concluding at 4 pm, participants including researchers, policymakers, and librarians will present research and discuss issues pertaining to artificial intelligence, text and data mining, copyright, and the role that research libraries assume within these domains.
Speakers confirmed for the event include Felix Steffek, Professor of Law at the University of Cambridge; Teresa Nobre, Legal Director of Communia; Kacper Szkalej, Assistant Professor specializing in Law and Technology; Karin Grönvall, National Librarian, National Library of Sweden; Wilhelm Widmark, Library Director, Stockholm University Library; and Jutta Haider, Professor in Information Studies at the University of Borås.
This conference extends an open invitation to all interested parties, and attendance is possible both in person and via online platforms. Register your in-person or online participation below. Lunch will be served for in-person participants.
